Dr. Sara Ellis, executive director of The Lobster Conservancy, is the featured speaker. Bring your bag lunch and a mug for this free talk. Drinks and desserts are provided, so reservations are requested. Call 646-1555 ext 118. These nurseries harbor "baby" lobsters that can be used to monitor lobster fishery health. The Lobster Conservancy is now preparing to establish nursery monitoring at Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport. The Lobster Conservancy is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the American lobster and the traditional trap fishery through scientific research and public education. Its website is at www.lobsters.org. # # # |
